Tommaso Protti
“TERRAVERMELHA” (“red earth” in Portuguese) is an unprecedented photographic investigation on the consequences of recent uncontrolled urbanization in the Amazon region by photo journalist Tommaso Protti.
Protti’s photographs have been shown around the world in numerous photography awards, festivals and competitions. Gate 44 published a series of limited edition hand-made prints as collaborative pieces between Tommaso and Gate 44 founder Glen Lasio.
