Tommaso Protti, Glen Lasio - Escondendo Os Labios

Escondendo Os Lábios is a collaborative project between Glen Lasio, founder of Gate 44, and photojournalist Tommaso Protti. It showcases Protti's photographs documenting the impact of uncontrolled urbanization in the Amazon territory.

Tommaso Protti is an Italian photojournalist based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he focuses his work on themes such as conflict, violence, environment, and inequality. Curated by Gate 44, this book is the first in a series that combines photojournalism and artistic storytelling. Incorporating various print techniques like screen-printing, photo-engraving, and digital printing, this project aims to explore the intersection of art, photography, and craftsmanship.
